Maxico Mistico is inspired by, and built on, shamanic and mystical Mexican traditions. Forged from the old world and adapted to today’s reality, these ancient Mexican recipes and techniques focus on long infusions, herb isolation and ingredient extractions to create these mystical potions. The original fernet recipe was created in the 19th century for one purpose, to heal the body, in this liqueur we want to revisit that focus but using local herbs to stamp it with a Mexican seal.

This Mexican Ferent Liqueur recipe combines Artimisia Ludoviciana (Estafiate), Chamomile, Propolis and Mullein. All are boiled individually, and then blended along with handmade caramels and left to rest for 3 months in cane spirit.
