Eduardo “Lalo” Peréz Cortez, son of Eleuterio “TíoTello” Peréz Ramos, produced this batch at their palenque in El Nanche, Oaxaca.Lalo set aside this batch of high proof blend of Espadin cuerpo (body) and Espadin puntas (heads), a mix he refers to as puntas, For this batch, Puntas has been bottled as-is and ‘undiluted’ with colas (tails). This has gived us the chance to learn more about how unblended mezcal tastes prior to dilution with tails. The care and effort made by Lalo and his family shines bright within this spirit, with tropical and herbal flavors that are both captivating and harmonious.

How It's Made
This Espadín has been milled by hand with machetes and wooden hammers. Fermented in cypress tanks with well water and double distilled in copper alembic stills.
