San Luis Amatlán, located in the region of Miahuatlan, Oaxaca is known for exceptional distillates utilizing Agave Karwinskiis, exemplified by this Cuishe bottling. Nicolas’ notable acumen with using a refrescadera style still, which allows two distillations during a single pass, is on display with every sip. As one of the more recently established partnerships with Cinco Sentidos, Nicolas’ batches have already made quite the impression with bold, roasted flavors and a lasting herbal finishes.

How It's Made
This Agave Karwinskii (Cuishe) is hand harvested and milled mechanically. Fermented in sabino cypress tanks with well water then distilled once in a copper refrescadera style still (which is technically two distillations).
