Product Description
Tequila ArteNOM Selecciones are where Mastery meets Provenance. ArteNOM isn’t a brand, it’s a curator’s touch. Each bottle is a rare, hand-selected expression from Jalisco’s most revered Tequila distillers, chosen not by marketing teams, but by taste, tradition, and technical brilliance.
This is the first collection of its kind with one extraordinary tequila from each of Jalisco’s legendary towns, crafted by the artisans themselves, not commissioned or altered. Each release showcases unfiltered terroir and technique, bottled with full transparency. No blends. No shortcuts. Just the pinnacle of agave craftsmanship, distiller by distiller, town by town.
Tequila ArteNOM Selección de 1146 Añejo is grown and produced in Atotonilco El Alto, Jalisco. This mid-slope elevation growing region is located on the eastern side of the Tequila at around 1700m above sea level.

How It's Made
Tequila ArteNOM Selección de 1146 Añejo is a double-barrel aged tequila with serious credibility and awards. Fonseca’s beautifully grown agaves with a brix level of 26-27 are halved & quartered (cogollo-removed) and then steam-roasted in low-pressure steel autoclave ovens for a minimum of 24 hours. This includes a 4-hour pre-roast to melt off bitters and a 4 hour cool down. The juice extraction is done with a screw press and fermentation happens in stainless steel vats using Mendoza wine yeast strains. Double-distilled in copper-pot stills to approximately 53% ABV and reduced with reverse-osmosis demineralized water.
Aging of this tequila is special. Enrique Fonseca ages this añejo to almost 3 years old before it is bottled. It spends 1.4 years in Loire Valley French oak and then moves from those barrells to age again for another 1.4 years in American white oak. Not many have the patience nor the dedication to double-barrel age.
