Product Description
Tequilana, also known as Blue Weber, flourishes on the hillsides of La Estancia de Landeros, painting the Sierra Madre blue. This region is typically known for growing Maximilinana agave and a key Raicilla production area. We have used locally harvested Tequilana agave which grows at this amazing altitude of around 6000-9000ft. Blue weber and Maximiliana litter the Sierra Occidental country side, flanked by rich green pastures, high mountain ranges and beautiful water supply. A fresh and new distillate from us at Estancia, made using our unique and traditional Raicilla production methods, tweaked to showcase what Blue Weber from the region can create, further influenced by the terroir characteristics of the Sierra Madre Occidental and its mineral-rich soil that come together to make one of our favourite distillates. This could be certified as a Blanco Tequila, however we choose not too.

How It's Made
Freshly harvested local blue agave is cooked in our adobe clay brick oven that are sealed with mud after reaching over 800 degrees. After two days of cooking on top of a bed of oak wood coals, the agave is milled into a juicy pulp to release the natural sugars for fermentation. Wild airborne yeast and our local spring water help create a rich ferment that lasts for 14 days before being doubled distilled in traditional pot stills to create our Estancia Tequilana distillate. You wont be dissapointed with this spirit.
