
Product Description
Don Cuco doesn’t shy away from bringing his playful personality to his production, exemplified by this Papalote con Chumil. After distillation is finished, the spirit is allowed to rest in glass demijohns with Chumil, a locally harvested stink bug, which imparts is flavours through the destilado as it rests. Don Cuco produces in the village of Tetitlán de la Lima, Guerrero and comes from a revered mezcal-making family and has spent the last 20 years cultivating Papalote.

How It's Made
This Papalote is hand harvested and milled via a mechanical shredder. Fermented in Ayacahuite (white pine) tanks with spring water. Then double distilled in copper alembic still.
